  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Warehouse experience is an asset
  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Physical demands: must be able to lift 50 lbs (23kg)
  • Attention to detail, excellent hand and eye coordination
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to adapt to changing and competing priorities on a frequent basis
  • Team player with ability to prioritize workload, high integrity and initiative
  • Proficient in computers and systems and experience with inventory software is an asset

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving supplies and materials, placing stock items in appropriate warehouse locations, yard and/or jobs.
  • Packaging and shipping parts and/or material to customers and/or vendors and arranging logistics with various carriers, as required.
  • Preparing parts for internal work orders by specified due dates.
  • Packaging and delivering required supplies daily to support manufacturing productivity.
  • Travel in town for parts and supplies using the company vehicle, when required.
  • Operating forklifts and crane in order to receive and ship loads.
  • Maintaining stock levels on replenishable items in office and men / women dry areas.
  • Assisting in inventory counts.
  • Completing general equipment maintenance and yard maintenance, including seasonal duties such as snow and ice removal in all entrances.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by offering consistent, reliable, timely and professional responses to all customers, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of all work areas, including emptying waste bins, sweeping, etc.
  • Supporting and actively participating in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours and objectives at all times in support of Rock-Tech's Health and Safety Policy/Program and best practices.

Salary, Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Salary: to be negotiated based on experience, knowledge and performance
  • Benefit package (Dental, Health, Drugs, Life and Disability Benefits)
  • Pension Plan
  • Monday to Friday with weekly rotation: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm / 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
