In addition to company-wide competencies:

  • College or University diploma in Accounting and Administration (certificate must be presented upon hire)
  • Proven skills in verbal and written communication in both official language (French and English)
  • Work experience in a similar environment using an accounting software system an Asset.
  • Excellent Computer knowledge, especially the Windows environment and the following software: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and email.
  • Valid driver’s license and owned vehicle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to adapt to changing and competing priorities on a frequent basis
  • Team player with ability to prioritize workload, high integrity and initiative
  • Proficient in computers and accounting systems
  • Must be bondable and provide current criminal record check.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements as requested using computerized and manual systems.
  • Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, purchase orders, cheques run, invoices, visas and bank statements in a computer system.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable set up and management.
  • Maintain CRM.
  • Call collections on overdue account.
  • Compile budget data and documents based.
  • Prepare period or cost statements or reports.
  • Complete government remittance
  • Filling (electronic)
  • Compile and enter all employee expenses.
  • Answers the telephone, screen and routes all calls.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations, and solve problems.
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining electronic filing and record systems, faxing, shredding and photocopying and mailing.
  • Manage an inventory of all office, lunchroom and boardroom supplies.
  • General office clean up, maintenance and organization.
  • Boardroom Upkeep.
  • Plan / organize staff luncheon and events.
  • Customer meeting and event planning.
  • Schedule travel arrangement.
  • Update internal documentation and forms.
  • Parts manual printing and setup.
  • Every employee is responsible to maintain a clean working environment.

Salary, Compensation & Work Schedule:

  • Salary: to be negotiated based on experience, knowledge and performance
